Ólafur Josephsson has been composing and recording music since 1999 under the moniker 'Stafrænn Hákon', under which he has now released 6 albums trough various labels around the world. He is very prolific, and has accumulated quite a catalogue of film industry work, as composer for various projects, mainly in Denmark, where he until recently resided.

He has collaborated with many different musicians and done remix work for others, as well as composing and performing theater music.

Ólafur has a great talent for creating strong soundscapes and atmospheres, which instantly marry visual material and make it take off.
